Accounts Receivable Accountant, Temp to Perm, Midtown Manhattan

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading company in the consumer product manufacturing industry to fill a Temp-to-Perm Accounts Receivable Accountant position in Midtown Manhattan. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated professional to join a dynamic finance team and contribute to the organization’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process all accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency

• Perform cash application duties, ensuring timely and accurate posting of payments

• Execute collections efforts on past-due accounts and maintain strong customer relationships

• Prepare and analyze aging reports to monitor outstanding receivables

• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition

• Support month-end close processes and assist with financial reporting as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Proven experience in accounts receivable, including cash application and collections

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)

• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

$27-35/hr

Pay Details: $27.00 to $35.00 per hour
