Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive A/R Collections Specialist to join our client’s finance team. This role is critical in managing the company’s accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a proven track record in collections and receivables management. This is a direct hire opportunity and will pay $58K. Onsite Monday-Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor and manage assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts.
· Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to follow up on overdue payments.
· Resolve billing issues and disputes to facilitate prompt payment.
· Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer interactions.
· Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., sales, billing, customer service) to resolve account discrepancies.
· Prepare ageing reports and provide regular updates to management.
· Recommend accounts for escalation or write-off when necessary.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or related finance roles.
· Strong understanding of A/R processes and collection strategies.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational and time management abilities.
· Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
