They are seeking a dynamic and bilingual (English/Korean) Talent Management Specialist to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be instrumental in driving talent development, performance management, and employee engagement strategies to support business goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong cultural fluency, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a solid background in the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with HR leadership to design, implement, and manage talent management programs including performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives.
Facilitate talent reviews and support managers in identifying and developing high-potential employees.
Coordinate onboarding and career development programs aligned with organizational goals.
Support training and development initiatives, including needs assessments, curriculum development, and delivery.
Translate HR communications, documents, and presentations between English and Korean to ensure clarity and compliance across a bilingual workforce.
Act as a liaison between Korean-speaking leadership and English-speaking staff to support effective communication and cultural integration.
Leverage HR data and metrics to monitor program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Support internal mobility, career pathing, and skills assessments for manufacturing employees.
Collaborate closely with operations, safety, and HR teams to align talent strategies with manufacturing workforce needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Talent Management, HR, or Organizational Development, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Bilingual fluency in English and Korean (both written and spoken) required.
Strong understanding of HR processes in industrial or manufacturing settings.
Experience facilitating training, performance reviews, or employee development programs.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and cross-cultural communication skills.
Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Korean business culture and ability to support Korea-based leadership.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma environments.
Certifications in talent development (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CPTD) a plus.
