Overview Mass General Brigham seeks a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to assist with current and ongoing research studies, as well as future studies in the Department of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Primary responsibilities include implementing study protocols, administering neuropsychological tests to older adults with cognitive problems, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with other research tasks as needed. The CRC will assist with recruiting and scheduling, as well as all visit tasks for participants recruited from the Memory Disorders Division at MGH, the Alzheimer’s Therapeutics Program, and the Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. The role supports aging and neurodegenerative disease research and requires strong interpersonal skills to interact with older adults. Job Summary: Following established policies, procedures, and study protocols, provides assistance on clinical research studies, including recruiting, evaluating, and consenting patients for studies; collecting and organizing patient data; scheduling patients for study visits; performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy and EKGs; maintaining and updating data generated by the study. Candidates who are completing their bachelor’s degree have a grace period of six months from hire date (up to one year if starting per diem) to provide degree equivalency verification. This position does not require patient care included in the duties. Responsibilities Reviews proposals for compliance with sponsor and organizational guidelines; verify all sponsor requirements are met. Recruiting patients for clinical trials, conducts phone interviews. Verifies the accuracy of study forms and updates them per protocol. Prepares data for analysis and data entry. Documents patient visits and procedures. Assists with regulatory binders and QA/QC procedures. Assists with interviewing study subjects. Assists with study regulator submissions.
