Location: Boston, MA | 4-5 days onsite/week

Salary Range: Up to $60K

Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 9-5 | Occasional overtime

About the Role

A respected law firm is seeking a detail-oriented Conflicts Analyst to join its growing team. This role will be responsible for conducting conflict of interest searches , analyzing new client business, and supporting matter openings . It is a key position that ensures compliance with firm policies and promotes efficiency within the Central Files and Records Department .

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in a legal environment preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite , particularly Excel; ability to learn new applications
• Knowledge of Aderant RMS preferred
• Strong research, analytical, and proofreading skills
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Proactive problem-solver with initiative and self-motivation
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Collaborative team player with a customer service focus

Key Responsibilities

• Perform conflict of interest searches for attorneys and administrative staff
• Research individual and corporate names in internal and external databases to identify organizational relationships
• Prepare and finalize conflict check reports using the firm’s conflicts database
• Communicate with attorneys and staff regarding results and missing information
• Distribute daily new matter reports and ensure proper matter opening procedures
• Assist with ongoing data maintenance projects to ensure accuracy of conflicts systems
• Support special projects and other duties related to the Central Files Department
