The Director, Local Government Sales is responsible for a team of Account Managers who maintain and expand relationships, while protecting and growing revenue with existing EFX Workforce Solutions (WS), Government Solutions clients. This role strategically guides and supports the Account Managers to represent and oversee the entire suite of WS solutions for their assigned customer’s book of business. The role focuses on capturing more market share via new customers, especially targeting the Top 100 prospects per market segment (Housing and Workforce Programs) and wallet via new product solutions. The team serves as trusted partners and advisors to maximize the growing use and effectiveness of each client’s suite of solutions. Responsibilities include working closely with business partners to provide best practices and direction to the Account Management team, driving client retention through outstanding service, leveraging Demand Generation strategies to drive revenue growth, identifying and mobilizing resources across the organization, meeting growth and strategic objectives, assessing and validating customer needs, managing contract negotiations and renewals, providing subject matter expertise, participating in critical care efforts to retain clients, and leading and developing team members. The role requires 7-10 years of sales experience in technology, software, data, or professional services with a cross-functional team approach, 3-5 years in management/supervisory roles preferably managing Strategic Sales and High Velocity teams, 3-5 years Government Sales experience (State and Local, Federal a plus), a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, and up to 15% travel. Desired skills include ability to influence all organizational levels, knowledge of industry and customer verticals, experience selling new product solutions, ability to prioritize and work independently, understanding of C-level client challenges, exemplary communication and presentation skills, critical thinking, and proficiency in CRM and MS Office.
