Job Title: EHS Manager – Food Manufacturing | $90K–$120K | Winston-Salem, NC

Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM (Emergency response as needed)
Compensation: $90K–$120K DOE + Benefits

Are you ready to lead safety and sustainability across a dynamic manufacturing division?
We’re hiring an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for a local food and beverage manufacturer. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned EHS professional who thrives on building programs, mentoring teams, and driving operational excellence across multiple sites.

???? What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage EHS programs and projects

  • Supervise EHS and Fleet Specialists

  • Collaborate with site leaders to improve safety culture and compliance

  • Oversee incident reporting and resolution, acting as interim EHS Director when needed

  • Develop budgets and evaluate cost-benefit of new initiatives

  • Mentor junior staff and coach site supervisors on EHS responsibilities

???? What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or graduate degree in a relevant field (IH/OH, public health, safety, environmental sciences, engineering, etc.)

  • 5+ years of site-level EHS experience (manufacturing preferred)

  • CSP or CIH certification (preferred)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to earn PIT and safe driving certifications within 6 months

  • High attention to detail and visual focus

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk frequently; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs
