Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Event Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and execution of events. This role involves working closely with the events team to ensure all logistics are handled smoothly and guests enjoy a seamless experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and preparation of events, including meetings, conferences, promotional activities, and social functions.
Coordinate event logistics such as venue setup, equipment, catering, transportation, and materials.
Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and participants to confirm event details.
Support on-site event operations, including registration, guest assistance, and troubleshooting.
Help with pre-event administrative tasks such as preparing checklists, timelines, and promotional materials.
Assist in post-event evaluations and compiling feedback reports.
Maintain inventory of event supplies and promotional materials.
Ensure all events are executed within budget and timeline constraints.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with event management software is a plus.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
