Front-End React Developer (Contractor)

Location: Remote (Open to candidates in USA and Canada )

Duration: 6+ Months (Extendible)

Pay Rate: CAD $40/hr. C2C All Inclusive for Canada & USD $44/hr. for USA based Candidates

About the Role:

We are hiring a Senior Front-End Engineer (React) to work on a high-impact project for a global digital payments and card issuing platform . You will join a team building modern contact center tools that enable superior customer support experiences for a growing international user base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Embed within an Agile Scrum team consisting of frontend and full-stack engineers
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint ceremonies
• Collaborate with Product , Engineering , and Design stakeholders
• Develop user interfaces for new global customer onboarding and support features
• Deliver pixel-perfect , high-quality , and well-tested React components
• Write and maintain unit tests ; conduct code reviews to ensure best practices

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development
• Strong expertise in React.js and building web-based CRUD interfaces
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with GraphQL and Node.js
• Hands-on experience with AWS , Terraform , and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficient in unit testing frameworks like Jest or Vitest
• Experience working in large, scalable frontend applications
• Understanding of SSO , OAuth 2 , and secure authentication flows
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Quick to onboard , adaptable, and proactive in delivery

Nice to Haves:

• Previous work in the FinTech or Payments industry
• Experience building contact center applications/tools
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Knowledge of end-to-end testing tools like Cypress
• Familiarity with Auth0 and role-based access control (RBAC)
