General Manager – Chick-fil-A (Charleston International Airport)

Location: Charleston, SC

Salary: 75k – 80k + Bonus Potential, Relocation provided for right candidate.

Schedule: Full-time, rotating shifts (including weekends/holidays) – SUNDAYS OFF!

Join our team as a General Manager and lead one of the busiest and most beloved brands in the country—Chick-fil-A—at Charleston International Airport!

What You’ll Do:

As the General Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of a high-volume Chick-fil-A location, ensuring excellence in service, food quality and team performance. You’ll lead a team of managers and crew members, drive financial results and create a positive work environment.

• Oversee daily operations including opening, closing, and shift transitions
• Maintain deep knowledge of Chick-fil-A brand standards and ensure consistent execution
• Ensure the restaurant is clean, well-stocked, and operating efficiently
• Lead by example and maintain high standards for food quality, speed of service, and guest interactions
• Use sound judgment to resolve customer and team issues professionally and promptly
• Monitor and maintain restaurant equipment, coordinating repairs and service as needed
• Hire, train, and onboard new team members and managers
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage across all shifts
• Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to team members
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
• Manage inventory levels, place orders, and oversee vendor relationships
• Review and analyze financial reports to drive profitability and control costs
• Accept full P&L responsibility and implement strategies to meet financial goals
• Ensure accurate processing of invoices and product deliveries
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Train staff on safety protocols, including COVID-19 wellness checks
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations
• Lead responses to audits and inspections (NSF, brand, landlord, etc.)
• Implement marketing and promotional programs to drive revenue
• Inspire team members to embrace new technologies and systems
• Deliver a welcoming, professional, and memorable experience for every guest

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of restaurant management experience (Chick -fil-A experience highly preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Experience with scheduling, inventory and P&L responsibility
• Passion for people, hospitality, and operational excellence
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays (SUNDAYS OFF)
