Job Title: Header Welder - TIG

Job Description

We are seeking experienced TIG Welders with expertise in welding on BOX HEADERS. Our company leads in designing and manufacturing shell and tube heat exchangers and cooling units. While Box Header welding experience is highly preferred, it is not mandatory, but candidates must possess strong TIG welding skills with code experience. Structural welding candidates will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on Box Headers with precision and accuracy.
• Read and interpret blueprints to meet required specifications and dimensions.
• Maintain a less than 5% X-Ray repair rate by recognizing and rectifying sub-standard welds.
• Be self-motivated and execute plans efficiently to complete jobs on time.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve company goals.
• Adapt to various tasks, stepping outside the welding role when necessary.
• Ensure a high level of safety in all operations.

Essential Skills

• Proven TIG welding experience.
• Experience with code welding.
• Skill in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Header Welding experience is preferred.
• Ability to maintain punctuality and dependability.
• Flexibility to work hours outside of a standard schedule if needed.
• Strong safety awareness and orientation.

Work Environment

Work in a heavy manufacturing environment with a 24/7 operational schedule. The role requires adherence to safety standards and the ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere.

This is a Contract position based out of Catoosa, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
