HouseMax Funding is looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team at our headquarters in Austin, TX . This is an in-office position offering the chance to grow your accounting career in a supportive, high-performance environment.

You'll play a key role in our finance operations—supporting financial reporting, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure compliance. What You'll Do:

• Prepare month-end close reconciliations and related entries
  
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements
  
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain accurate records
  
• Support AP/AR functions and journal entries
  
• Assist with internal reporting and compliance documentation

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong attention to detail and working knowledge of Excel
• A team player who's eager to learn and contribute
