As legal support for commercial transactions, we aim to drive the growth of the business by providing legal solutions to business challenges. This detail-oriented and energetic Legal Counsel will report to the Evergreen Division General Counsel. The role is located in the Insight Global headquarters in Dunwoody, Georgia, with four days a week in-office and one day remote.

Job Responsibilities

Legal Counsel supports the Evergreen business by delivering excellence in the drafting, review, and negotiation of professional services agreements. They assist sales and solution professionals in selecting contract models which support the financial, operational, and reputational goals of the business. Legal Counsel advises the Contract Team as we pursue favorable contract terms which support the sustainable, profitable, growth of the business. They provide training to business professionals on key contractual and legal concepts. They provide summaries of key master service agreements and recommendations for negotiation to the Div. GC, company leadership, and sales professionals. Applicants should have 4 to 8 years of post-bar experience in a law firm or corporate setting. Preferred applicants will have direct experience drafting and negotiating fixed-price project agreements, supporting delivery organizations in the execution of those agreements, and managing related claims.

  • Support the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts for a wide range of professional services.
  • Review, analyze, and prepare summaries of key customer and supplier contracts.
  • Support delivery teams in claim-related issues and correspondence.
  • Prepare and conduct training for business departments on legal issues.
  • Research legal issues and prepare memoranda.
  • Support discovery, document management, and other tasks related to litigation.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel on various issues.
  • Support contract management best practices and systems.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience as practicing attorney specializing in commercial transactional work.

Strong academic credentials.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills.

Passionate and conscientious approach to contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
