Job Summary:

Performs duties under the guidance of the Practice Administrator and supervised by the Program Coordinator and Registered Nurses. Provides direct, defined health care services to students within the public school system, which includes administering medications, specific treatments within the framework of the established standards/plans of care and contributes to the assessment of the health and status of the student. Works within a collaborative partnership with healthcare providers, Central Georgia Healthcare System, and school administration.

Minimum Job requirements:

• Graduate of accredited school of practical nursing from a recognized Vocational Technical School of Licensed Practical Nursing.
• Minimum of one year of practical nursing experience with strong preference for pediatric experience. Experience working with economically disadvantaged population preferred.
• Current valid Georgia Nursing license
• CPR
