Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a direct contact with customers and internal Business Units.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and operations.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (NPI, SQM, Production) to ensure project success.
  • Understand and meet customer expectations as defined in contracts, RFQs, RFPs, SOWs, or verbal requests.
  • Develop cost quotations for RFQs, RFPs, SOWs, and verbal requests as needed.
  • Create and manage project plans (roadmap/Gantt chart) with key milestones for process implementation.
  • Communicate key business metrics, goals, objectives, and reporting requirements.
  • Set and achieve goals and objectives in collaboration with customers, operations, and respective business units.
  • Execute cost reduction and continuous improvement activities to ensure low cost, profitability, and high customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor financial performance to ensure revenue and profit goals are met.
  • Track program performance to customer expectations and work with operations to address deficiencies.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans for underperforming business metrics and ensure plans are met.
  • Communicate corrective action plans to customers proactively when performance is below expectations.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve technical, business, cost, and schedule challenges.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proven interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with P&L terminology and concepts.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of project management experience.

Education:

  • BS/MS in Marketing, Operations, Information Management, or Business Administration.

Other Requirements:

  • Expert use of Microsoft suite of application software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Project or program management experience.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin or Spanish is a plus.
