Job Description

Our client, a leader in aerospace technology, is seeking a Surface Treatment I professional to join their team. As a Surface Treatment I, you will be part of the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility supporting the finishing of aircraft components. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Surface Treatment I

Location: Foley, AL

Pay Range: $12.35 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift (5:15am - 2:15pm, Monday - Friday)

What's the Job?

• Oversee the finishing of aircraft components essential to aerodynamics and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprint specifications and shop orders for sealing and painting tasks.
• Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
• Apply cleaning solvents and prepare surfaces for coating.
• Complete seal and water testing of components and install small detail parts.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions.
• Prior paint or processing experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to conduct self-inspections.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
