PARK AND RECREATION SPECIALIST / GOLD FIELDS DISTRICT / FOLSOM LAKE STATE RECREATION AREA

This position is a 12-month Limited-Term position that may be extended and/or become permanent.

The reporting location for this position is at the Folsom Lake SRA located at 7755 Folsom-Auburn Road, Folsom, CA 95630. This position will work under the close supervision of the Senior Park and Recreation Specialist.

The Park and Recreation Specialist (LT), assists with the coordination and management of the Aquatic Invasive Species Inspection, Education and Prevention Program (AISIEPP) at Folsom Lake and Auburn State Recreation Areas. The Park and Recreation Specialist (PRS) serves as the lead worker coordinating the work of up to 26 park aides in implementing the AISIEPP operation and program. This work will include aspects of visitor services, resource protection, facilities maintenance and interpretation and education.

This position is designated as telework eligible-office centered.
