Position Title: Parts Repair Technician

Location: Portage, MI

Pay Range: $18.00/HR

Shift: 1st

Schedule: M-F, 6:00AM - 2:30PM

We are currently seeking an individual who is mechanically inclined to make sure products are top-notch and ready to go. You'll be a key player in our operations, handling everything from testing and repairing various items (like customer returns or loaner units) to receiving and shipping them out.

Job Description:

• Performs in-house servicing and repair of orthopedic and neurosurgical medical device products at local service center.
• Diagnoses, repairs and tests mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures.
• Ensure the quality and traceability of each device through preventative maintenance and programming.
• Performs maintenance, cleaning, testing and calibration of repaired products.
• Follow clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making during a manufacturing process (GMP)
• Follow detailed and defined rules / instructions and to make simple judgement in straightforward situations regarding the repair of medical devices

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing environment or related field
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics
• Ability to push/pull/lift/carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Proficiency with basic math and writing
• Ability to adhere to safety requirements including wearing necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
