*SAP Security Specialist*

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Security Specialist for our national Fortune 15 healthcare client. This role is critical in ensuring the security and compliance of our client's SAP and IT landscape. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with S4 HANA and GRC 12, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct research, analysis, creation, monitoring, and follow-through of end-user and IT security within SAP and the IT landscape.
* Utilize a strong understanding of OKTA.
* Serve as a security consultant with business and IT to gather requirements for end-user roles, interfaces, and batch jobs, and troubleshoot and resolve security requests.
* Apply current IT security and compliance policies to ensure adherence to established standards.
* Leverage knowledge of Active Directory, SSO, Security, and Access Integrations to resolve security issues.
* Follow and improve security processes.
* Provide security support for key applications such as BTP, SAC, IBP, S4, HANA DB, and other cloud-based solutions.
* Ensure SAP instances are properly secured.
* Develop custom security solutions to meet business requirements using agreed-upon tools and utilities.
* Secure custom transactions, tables, and programs.
* Develop and promote application security development standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
* Periodically review and revise application security roles to meet changing business needs and ensure audit access controls are met.
* Design and implement user administration solutions for new applications and transition processes to appropriate administration teams.
* Understand Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts and business processes to maintain GRC SoDs.
* Provide analytical support for SoD (financial, sensitive, and system) to meet SAP security controls using GRC 12.
* Monitor SOX compliance related to security and access management.
* Review SAP security notes to evaluate relevancy, risk, priority, and implementation timing in collaboration with Basis and other functional teams.
* Support external, internal, and SOX audits with a strong understanding of the GRC ruleset.
* Provide training on SAP security policies and procedures to process teams, project teams, development teams, other IT security teams, and support personnel.
* Support SAP Security patch reviews and audits.
* Provide on-call support as required in rotation with other SAP Security team members.
*Qualifications:*
*Required Skills:*
* Experience with 1-2 SAP implementations and 6+ years of SAP security experience.
* 2+ years of SAP GRC 12 experience.
* Knowledge of SAP Security in applications such as GRC 12, S4 HANA, Solution Manager, BI, and ECC Integrations for SSO, including Active Directory and OKTA Identity/Security management.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
* Understanding of object-oriented design/implementation.
* Ability to manage development individually and multitask across business teams/IT areas.
* Ability to see the big picture without losing sight of details.
* Ability to provide on-call support for customer issues on a team rotation basis.
* Perform triage on issues, identify root causes, and provide solutions.
* Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
*Required Experience & Education:*
* 10+ years of overall professional experience.
* Experience in S4 HANA SAP Security & GRC.
* Knowledge of Fiori.
* Bachelor's Degree.
*Desired Experience:*
* CISSP, CCSP certifications.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
