KBR is seeking to hire a Security Escort with a Top Secret Clearance to join our Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Operating Unit. CIP provides expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of Electronic Security Systems (ESS) and Utilities/Control Systems for the DoD, FAA, and Federal Law Enforcement. The Security Escort will ensure that security requirements are maintained in support of the Security Facility Operations, Maintenance, and Security (SFOMS) program located at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC. Answers routine questions concerning security procedures. May work in a secured environment. Work performed in the area of security is performed in accordance with DSS (Defense Security Service), NSA (National Security Agency), and/or other applicable agencies which conduct regular security audits and/or investigations. Duties and Responsibilities include providing escort coverage for uncleared construction work crew visiting Naval Research Lab, meeting the crew at the Visitor Control Center, briefing them on NRL security policy, maintaining visual contact with the crew, ensuring security procedures are followed for personnel and materials, coordinating with other cleared escorts, and verifying all NRL security requirements are met. Basic Qualifications: U.S. Citizen, Active Top Secret clearance required, High School diploma, 5 years of related work experience. This is a temporary position with approximately 12 months duration, possibly longer. This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position.
