Key Responsibilities

Established St Louis firm seeking a Sr. Accountant or Accounting Manager to join its finance and accounting team. This leadership role is responsible for assisting with responsibilities such as financial operations, ensuring compliance, and delivering timely and accurate reporting.

• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with financial analysis, budgeting
• Oversee tax filings and regulatory reporting
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting systems, and processes.
• Optimize use of accounting software
• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s preferred.
• CPA
• 2-4 years of public accounting in Audit role or in an accounting role in the financial services industry
