This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide specialized instruction and support to K-12 students with diverse learning needs during the Extended School Year (ESY) program in Lakeside, AZ. This contract role is available on both a full-time and part-time basis to accommodate a variety of schedules and student requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students with special education needs.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success.
• Utilize various teaching strategies and tools to engage students effectively.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Adapt instructional materials to meet different learning styles and abilities.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with K-12 students across a range of disabilities and learning challenges.
• Preferred experience in virtual instruction or a VOCO (Virtual Online Classroom Opportunity) setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to create positive and inclusive learning environments.
• Commitment to professional growth and student-centered teaching.
