Dynacast, LLC, a Form Technologies Company, is a leading global manufacturer of small engineered precision components utilizing proprietary multi-slide die casting technology and tooling techniques. We currently have an opening for a Sr. Tool Maker/Mold Maker on 1st shift.Pay: Starting at $40 hr., based on minimum of 10-15 years of experienceSummary of Position: Places orders, schedules repairs, conduct analyses of reports as well as develops, cuts, shapes or forms metal work pieces to specifications. This position offers the ability to mentor junior tool makers. Opportunities to lead projects by working with engineering, production, and quality staff. Involvement in building and repairing tools.Key Responsibilities:Order all materials & supplies related to mold construction and mold maintenance. Also, any and all material to keep tool room machinery running.Operation of EDM machines.Schedule repairs of tool room machinery.Requisitions dies, fixtures and materialAnalyzes work orders and blue prints to determine information such as type of operations and sequence of operations to be used.Repairs tools from blueprints.Works on all conventional machining tools. Construct, alter and repair a wide variety of complicated tools, fixtures and dies.Responsible for following all safety procedures / regulations and keeping immediate work area clean.Additional duties may be assigned by Tool Room Supervisor.Education/Experience:Apprenticeship/Journeyman certificate from college or technical school; and minimum of 10-15 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
