Summer 2025 Sales Internship

Location: Richmond, VA

Job Type: Internship (Full-Time, Summer 2025)

Compensation: Commission-Based

Spire is a fast-growing pest control company dedicated to providing top-quality services to our customers. We are seeking motivated and ambitious interns to join our sales team for the summer. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, develop valuable business skills, and work in a dynamic, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the sales team in prospecting and generating new leads.
• Conduct outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings to potential clients.
• Support in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to develop selling techniques.
• Help with market research and competitive analysis.
• Track and report sales activities using CRM software.

Characteristics/Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a college/university program, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus but not required.
• Experience in sales, customer service, or marketing is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of steering discussions and fostering relationships with potential customers.
• Have remarkable confidence and composure throughout the sales process.
• Have a desire to obtain financial freedom.
