Salary: $12 - $19 per hour

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a strong School Age Teacher to join our team. Our teachers are responsible for creating and maintaining a classroom that adheres to the school's mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilizing the many resources and curriculum to maximize the children's learning opportunities each day.
• Ensuring that MAXIMUM HEIGHTS ACADEMY regulations are complied with at all times.
• Communicating daily with parents about their children and their children's academic progress.
• Adhering to the daily schedule and following the prescribed curriculum.
• Presenting a professional demeanor at all times.
• Maintaining a clean and organized classroom that provides a healthy and safe environment for our children.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred) or related field with child development coursework.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education with 2 years of teaching experience.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with 3 years of teaching experience.
• CPR Certification (preferred).

Personal Qualities:

• Passionate about working with school-aged children and supporting their development.
• Creative, reliable, and adaptable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
