Work Schedule and Location: On-Site: Full-time position at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling in Washington, DC, Monday to Friday, 0600 to 1800. Responsibilities: Proofreading and editing communications materials, including briefing documents, reports, and multimedia content Ensuring all materials adhere to AP Style, the agency's style guide, and correspondence guidelines Research and development of communication products Collaborating with writers and visual information specialists to improve readability and effectiveness Supporting various divisions in editorial and content development Attending meetings to gather information and provide editorial support Managing multiple assignments, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high quality in a fast-paced environment Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field TS/SCI clearance with CI poly 1-2 years of experience in technical writing or editing Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SharePoint Strong attention to detail and error-free work Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team Experience with AP Style and agency-specific style guides Experience in government or military environment preferred FWI is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
