Job Description:

We are seeking a responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard . In this role, you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas and ensuring the safety and security of properties, assets, and personnel. This position requires the use of your own vehicle for patrols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular, random patrols of assigned areas (using your own vehicle)

• Monitor for any signs of suspicious activity, theft, or security breaches

• Enforce security policies and procedures

• Report incidents, violations, and unusual activity to management

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors

• Complete shift reports and log patrol activity

• Respond to emergencies or alarms as directed

• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security risks

Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland Guard Card (required)

• Valid Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle for patrol

• Must be able to pass a background check
  
  
• Previous security or law enforcement experience is preferred, but not required

• Strong attention to detail and ability to observe and report

• Good communication skills and a professional demeanor

• Ability to work independently and remain alert during shifts

Additional Information:

• Pay Range: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

• Flexible hours with the option to work morning, evening, or overnight shifts

• Training will be provided to ensure youre fully prepared for the role
