Job Title: TIG Welder

Job Description

Utilize your welding expertise to work on a variety of materials while reading and interpreting blueprints. Perform TIG and MIG welding processes and conduct fit-ups. Make necessary welds on housings, manifolds, brackets, tank welds, and guard welds. Projects change daily, offering variety and challenges.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on multiple types of materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Conduct fit-ups and layouts independently.
• Make welds on housings, manifolds, brackets, tanks, and guards.
• Adapt to changing daily projects.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience with TIG welding.
• Ability to perform fit-ups and layouts.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in job shop settings.
• Experience working with stainless steel and aluminum materials.

Work Environment

The majority of materials welded are sheet metal and light plate, primarily 16 gauge stainless steel.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Batavia, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $28.00/hr.
