Job Description
ALIGN Integrated Care, a leading provider of psychiatric and behavioral health services in Henrico, Virginia, is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our outpatient care team. The CMA will play a critical role in supporting both the clinical and administrative functions of the practice. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, performing urine drug screens, preparing patients for psychiatric evaluations, administering injections under supervision, and documenting clinical information in the electronic medical record. The CMA will also assist with medication reconciliation, scheduling, prescription coordination, and maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment. Ideal candidates will have current CMA certification, CPR/BLS credentials, and at least one year of experience in a mental health, substance abuse, or primary care setting preferred. Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a trauma-informed and patient-centered care team are essential.
