This role offers exposure to different internal stakeholders and requires excellent communication skills to ensure smooth coordination with other departments.
Key responsibilities include:
? Responsible for SAP contract management, supplier shipment coordination, accounts payable monitoring, and follow up and all related activities under the sugar sourcing support
? Liaison between plants, supply chain, & sourcing to communicate and supervise sugar contract management, freight decisions, and inventory supervision
? Maximize supply chain network to best support the business
? Resolve invoice discrepancies between all involved parties
? Assist in new sugar supplier approvals/re-approvals, as well as maintain supplier documentation through SRM portal
? Coordinate with suppliers to ensure contract adherence
? Lead and ensure End-of-Month activities are successfully executed
? Manage logistic providers in coordination with Customer requirements and sourcing targets
? Coordinate with import/exports specialists to ensure all shipments are customs cleared timely and reach their destination
? Assist with supply strategy development, project and physical position management and reporting
? Work in coordination with AP/AR departments to monitor and ensure payments to Trading Partner as well as receivables are executed timely
? Assist sugar buyers in achieving internal targets
? Perform other duties as required
Scope of Role:
? Coordination for sugar sourcing strategy of 9 sites across USA and Canada
? Interaction with Sugar team throughout the North America region
? Cross-function interaction across BC global networks
About you:
? Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or Food Science strongly preferred
? Professional working proficiency in Spanish strongly desired
? Travel requirements: Available for travel up to 10-15%
