Job Description As a Security Professional - Access Patrol in River Rouge, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more . As an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will interact with individuals on site, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:30 PM - 06:30 AMSun10:30 PM - 06:30 AM Responsibilities: Provide customer service by following access control procedures and site-specific policies at the utilities location. Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access. Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols. Maintain detailed records of access control activities and report any unusual observations or incidents. Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors regarding access procedures and site rules. Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of security experience. Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the TSA. Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
