Crittenton Children's Center is the Kansas City area's premier provider of psychiatric care for children, adolescents and their families. It is located on a picturesque, 96 acre campus in south Kansas City (near Longview Lake) providing serenity, beauty and privacy to assist with the healing process.

Shift: Mostly Mon-Fri 9-5. Occasional evenings and weekends to support special events and outings (twice a month at most). Time can be flexed to accommodate weekend and evening events to maintain limit of 40 hours worked per week.No on-call or holiday responsibilities.

For more than 120 years we've cared for the emotional health of Kansas City's children and families. Today we offer one of the area's most comprehensive behavioral health care programs. And we are backed by the complete resources of Saint Luke's Health System.

We are currently seeking a full time Exercise Therapist .

• Provides exercise, fitness and recreation consistent with the treatment needs of pre-ad and adolescent patients and coordinating programs for patients through participation in the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Cooperatively follows programs, completes assessments, documents behavior, and progress.
• Responsible for creating and implementing community integration outings.
• Conducts fitness testing.
• Educates patients on nutrition, diet, healthy living, exercise, and safe use of equipment.

Requires a bachelors degree in a related field (exercise, fitness, physical education, kinesiology) and relevant certification (CTRS, Trauma Informed Fitness Certificate, Certified Personal Trainer, ISSA, or NASM).

1 - 3 years of experience working with at risk youth.

Must have a clean driving record.
